initiates). Detailed discussion of the theory of Ajapa Yoga, written in
Bengali more than 100 years ago by a disciple of Guru Purnanandaji.

The literature listed below is recommended for initiates only.
# 1 - "Introduction to Ajapa Yoga" features the story of
Swami Purnananda, selected teachings of Guru Janardan Paramahansa,
and the story of how Ajapa Yoga came to the West.
# 2 - "The Sounds of Creation" features a talk by Guru Janardan
on the evolution of the universe from sound. In addition, it contains
a powerful and very moving letter written by Guru Purnananda Paramahansa
to His disciples.
# 3 - "Experiences in Sadhana" includes the teachings of Guru
Janardanji stressing the importance of direct experience rather than
imaginary language as the means to realize the truth. Also, several of Guru
Dev's American disciples relate their outstanding experiences from the
practice of Ajapa Yoga.
Guru Janardan Paramahansa - dialogue in chronological order of
many of Guru Dev's conversations during His trip to America. Guru Dev, in
His warm and inimitable style, speaks about almost every aspect of Sadhana.
Also included in this all-encompassing work is the story of Guru
Purnanandaji, the story of Guru Prasadji, and the story of how Guru Dev took
initiation from Guru Bhumanandaji.
